About These Terms

These terms apply when you use the services provided by Chris Naylor, trading as Your Tech Mate. By using my services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask - no jargon here either.

Services

I provide tech support, admin help, and business services including but not limited to:

Services are provided remotely (via WhatsApp, phone, email, or screen sharing) or in person within the Durham and County Durham area, depending on the task.

Pricing and Payment

My current pricing is displayed on my website. Key points:

For business and hospitality services, pricing is tailored to your needs and will be agreed before work begins. I will always confirm the cost with you before starting any work.

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed. I accept bank transfer and cash.

Bookings and Cancellations

Tasks are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Subscription clients receive priority support.

If you need to cancel a booked session, please give me at least 24 hours' notice. I understand that things come up, so I'll always try to be flexible.

Monthly Subscriptions

Subscription services are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel your subscription at any time with 7 days' notice before your next billing date. There are no long-term contracts or exit fees.

Subscriptions cover the services outlined for your plan. Work that falls outside the scope of your subscription may be charged at my standard hourly rate, which I'll always discuss with you first.

What I Need From You

To provide the best service, I may need you to:

Confidentiality

I treat all client information with strict confidentiality. Any login credentials, files, documents, or business information you share with me will only be used for the specific task you've requested. I will never share your information with third parties without your permission, except where required by law.

Liability

I take great care with every task, but please note:

I will always do my best to resolve any issues and will work with you to find a solution if something goes wrong.

Intellectual Property

Any documents, graphics, or content I create for you as part of a paid service become yours once payment is received in full. I may retain copies for my own records but will not share or reuse your work without permission.

Refunds

If you're not happy with the work I've done, please let me know as soon as possible and I'll do my best to put it right. If we can't resolve the issue, I'll offer a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances. Refund requests should be made within 14 days of the work being completed.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about my services, please contact me directly and I'll work to resolve it promptly. I value your feedback and want to make things right.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
